KUCHING, May 17: Jalan Tun Jugah here will be temporarily closed from May 16 to May 30, 2022 from 8pm to 5am.
According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) report, the Public Works Department (JKR) announced the temporary closure to allow repair work on the road and half of the Jalan Tun Jugah stretch.
“Diversions and road closures will be implemented only when maintenance work is being performed at the work site to make room for heavy machinery.
“This road, however, will be opened as soon as possible if the maintenance work can be completed in order to facilitate traffic movement,” JKR said.
It advised users to follow safety signs placed around the affected areas and asked for cooperation by following the route guard’s instructions to help with traffic flow.
Furthermore, JKR stated that anyone with complaints or questions about traffic flow in the affected area should contact the JKR Kuching division office (082-203400) or DAL HCM (011-51620097) during office hours. — DayakDaily
