KUCHING, June 7: Jalan Poh Kwong at Mile 12, Siburan will be temporarily closed from June 9 to July 23 to facilitate upgrading works to the drainage and sewer system in the area.
According to the Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR), road users have been advised to use the existing alternative route until upgrade works are complete.
“Road users are asked to be careful while driving and follow all traffic instructions for their safety during the temporary road closure.
“We will inform if there are any changes in the date, time or area involved with the upgrading work,” it said.
It also apologised for any inconveniences caused and advised the public to plan their trips if travelling within the affected areas.
