KUCHING, April 11: Both sides of Jalan Bau-Lundu/Sematan in front of SK Senibong will be closed on April 17 from 10am to 12pm to facilitate the installation of steel box trusses of an overhead bridge.
In an advisory notice, the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak’s Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak Unit advised motorists to be extra careful when approaching and travelling along the stretch and to comply with all traffic management instructions as the roads will be fully closed for the upgrading works.
Road users are also encouraged to plan their journey ahead towards their destinations.
The Unit apologised for any inconvenience caused, and will update the public should there be any changes in the date, time or area involved with the upgrading works.
