KUCHING, Nov 14: Prime Minister Dato Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has pledged to prioritise Sarawak in the country’s development.

According to Ismail Sabri, as the chairman of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) special committee, he will make sure that everything that is outstanding and has not been resolved will be rectified for the benefit of the people of Sarawak.

“God willing, if I am re-elected as prime minister, I guarantee that Sarawak will be my priority in developing the country,” said Ismail Sabri in his speech when officiating at the Pan Borneo Sarawak, Selangau section at Selangau-Mukah interchange in Sibu today.

He said to make it possible, the rakyat (people) have to do their part by electing a responsible government that will benefit them instead of the one that cancels projects.

He also said everyone must choose wisely because the wrong choice will affect everyone.

“We don’t have much time to think. I hope you make the right decision to ensure the government that will be formed is capable of safeguarding the interests of the people in Sarawak,” he added. — DayakDaily
