“Starting next week, the media conference will be held three times a week, which is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday,” he said at a media conference on Covid-19 (non-health) development held in Putrajaya today.

He jokingly added that, after this, there would be no more of his colourful shirt display that was likened by the public to the local “kuih-muih” and beverages.

Ismail Sabri also expressed his gratitude to all those involved in the efforts to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic and reminded the public to continue to adhere to the rules and standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the government.

These included practicing the new norm such as social distancing, personal hygiene and self-control in order to stay safe.

“I also would like to thank all the parties involved in the efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19, especially the frontliners, including their family members for their understanding.

“Not to forget the sacrifice of the media practitioners for their effort in relaying the information to the public, and also to all Malaysians for abiding to the rules and SOP set,” he added. –DayakDaily.
