IRBM presents 200 food baskets to the needy

BINTULU, Sept 10: The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme recently has distributed 200 food baskets to assist those affected by Covid-19 in Bintulu.

Bintulu IRBM director Edith Mason at Balai Raya Assyakirin handed over the assistance to recipients and representatives which will then be distributed to residents around Bintulu in collaboration with Bintulu Divisional Social Welfare Office (PKMB) and Bintulu Divisional Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS).

Also present at the programme was Bintulu PKMB chief Sharifah Mordiah Syed Ali Bintulu TBS chief Zaini Ramli.


To date, a total of 10,970 food baskets have been donated to needy families nationwide through the Hasil Prihatin CSR Programme in the hope that it will be able to alleviate the burden borne by the people affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. — DayakDaily
