KUCHING, Sept 7: Popular social media influencer Fadhil Mohamad Isa, better known as Kaduk/Cardock, broke down in tears after his prized Lotus Elise sports car was completely destroyed in a fire at Jalan Kuching-Serian Batu 12 near a traffic light this evening.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the emergency call was received at 5.46pm and a team of six firefighters from Siburan Fire Station (BBP Siburan), led by PBK II (TBK I) Andrew Chong, was immediately dispatched to the scene.
“Upon arrival, it was confirmed that the Lotus Elise was already 100 per cent destroyed by fire,” Bomba stated in its report.
Firefighters used one hose line from the fire engine’s tank to extinguish the blaze, with the operation declared over at 6.30pm.
No injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, Fadhil in a TikTok Live session later shared that he had attempted to use a fire extinguisher kept in the car, but it malfunctioned and failed to put out the flames.
He revealed that he and his wife had pulled over immediately after spotting smoke before the vehicle erupted in fire.
At one point during the livestream, the automotive content creator could not contain his emotions as he watched his vehicle—which he had owned for nearly eight years—being reduced to ashes, and he broke down crying. — DayakDaily
