Industry players to converge in KL for BE Forum on Oct 23

KUCHING, June 21: The Business Events (BE) Forum will return to Kuala Lumpur on the Oct 23 this year at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).

The purpose of the BE Forum, according to Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS) president Dato’ Vincent Lim, is to provide a platform for industry players to explore, share and inspire new ideas for the business events industry.

With the theme ‘Be Memorable’, the 4th BE Forum will have sessions to explore ways in making business events more memorable and unforgettable,” Lim shared in a recent video announcement for BEF 2019.

“The main highlights of the forum will be the BE sessions, BE Inspired will introduce the topic of festivalisation in Malaysia while BE Innovative gives you the opportunity to hear about innovative solutions from different speakers,” he explained.

Organising chairman Kenneth Fong added that BE Youth is a unique session dedicated to the youth to pitch and share their ideas for the future of business events industry.

“At the BE Marketplace, businesses and companies in the industry can exhibit and promote their services and products to those attending the forum,” he said.

Among the speakers at the 4th BE Forum are EventBank CEO Eric Schmidt, Astro Awani deputy editor-in-chief Kamarul Bahrin Haron, Hot Shoe Show and Co Sdn Bhd CEO Lee Mark, and APAC region marketer specialising in digital marketing industry Eddie Choi.

At BE Forum, Schmidt will be talking about building communities through events and latest trends in technology.
