Indonesian teenager gets six-month imprisonment for living off two Thai prostitutes

KUCHING, Aug 20: The Sessions Court here has sentenced an Indonesian teenage boy to a jail term of six months and a stroke of rotan for living off two prostitutes of Thai nationality.

The Indonesian boy was charged under Section 372A of the Penal Code for knowingly living off the earnings of two Thai nationals, Anisa Ounsri, 39, and Warangya Thongmao, 32, who were also being penalised for prostitution activities at a hotel in Jalan Setia Jaya, here at about 4pm on June 28, 2021.

The 17-year-old boy pleaded guilty to the charge framed.

Meanwhile, Anisa Ounsri and Warangya Thongmao were charged under Section 372B of the Penal Code at different Sessions Court here for involving in prostitution activities.

They were arrested by a team of police under Ops Noda. — DayakDaily
