KUCHING, April 28: An Indonesian man was killed in an accident that occurred at Kampung Meragang, Merapok, in Lawas today.
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 10.16am and firefighters from the Lawas station were deployed.
“Upon arrival, it was learned that the accident involved a Perodua Myvi carrying five individuals, a Honda City driven by a man, and a motorcycle with two Indonesian men riding it,” said the report.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene by a team from the health ministry, whereas the pillion rider was severely injured and sent to the hospital.
The driver of the Myvi suffered shoulder injuries and was sent to the hospital, while the Honda City driver was not injured.
The four passengers in the Myvi were reported to be safe as well. — DayakDaily
