KUCHING, Nov 29: Ibraco Berhad (Ibraco) proudly celebrate its 50th anniversary with a carnival at the Ibraco Gallery, Northbank, Kuching, running from November 29 to December 1.
The carnival featured 18 vendors and a vibrant lineup of activities, including games, live performances, and festive displays, all under the theme ‘Home for the Holidays’.
Executive director of Ibraco, Lily Tang, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the management, staff, and community for their unwavering support over the decades.
“With the dedication of our talented team and the ongoing support of the communities we serve, we aim to continue growing and innovating, to achieve even greater success in the next 50 years,” said Tang.
The event was officiated by Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor, Dato Wee Hong Seng, who was welcomed with a delightful performance by the Band Lab playing Christmas songs and a graceful ballet display by a group of dancers.
During his speech, Wee applauded Ibraco’s transformation and diversification into other industrial and manufacturing sectors, such as concrete and pipe production.
“Ibraco has proven that it is a company that continually evolves and adapts to the changing needs of the economy and society,” said Wee.
He also praised the company’s charitable initiatives, which included collaborations with organisations like Hope Place and The Salvation Army, both of which set up booths during the carnival.
“I am also happy to see that throughout this great transformation, Ibraco builds by keeping the needs of the community and the environment at the forefront of its operations,” Wee added.
As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, Ibraco is offering special promotions on select properties.
The festivities extend to Bintulu, where Ibraco is hosting an open house at the Sales Gallery at Town Square Bintulu from November 29 to December 1, and a roadshow in Delta Mall, Sibu from December 9 to 15. — DayakDaily
