KUCHING, Sept 20: Hock Seng Lee (HSL) today opened its first-ever Property Expo at La Promenade Mall, offering promotions and discounts across all its projects, from the established gated residences of La Promenade to Jigsaw, the developer’s first condominium.

The Property Expo will run from today until Oct 5, offering discounts of up to RM18,000, in addition to a 25 per cent discount on home furnishing packages throughout the event.

According to HSL’s Senior Property Development general manager, Tay Chiok Kee, these promotions are exclusive to the expo and can only be obtained through HSL’s sales team.

“We have been planning our own expo since 2022, and we are finally ready to host one. It is a special event with special deals,” he told reporters during a press conference.

Tay added that HSL rarely offers discounts and has collaborated with partners to create strong furnishing options.

He elaborated that at their Samariang Aman 3, a 310-acre township in Petra Jaya, buyers will find discounts starting from RM5,000 on soon-to-be-completed homes.

He also revealed that at La Promenade, HSL’s flagship 200-acre gated community, discounts are up to RM18,000.

On HSL’s first condominium, the Jigsaw, the company is offering two furnishing packages.

According to Angie Joan, HSL Assistant Property Sales Manager, the Standard package offers a 25 per cent discount, while the Designer package offers 20 per cent off.

She elaborated that buyers will have most of their kitchen cabinetry and wardrobes built with key appliances, such as a refrigerator and television, plus luxury essentials like memory-foam mattresses, included.

“It is essentially a turnkey condo,” she said.

She further revealed that the expo also brings together banking partners to provide end-financing consultations and on-the-spot guidance.

“We will also share new launches, including Vista Industrial Park’s three-storey units with built-in heavy-duty lifts, which are on show, alongside rebates and deals from retail partners,” she added.

She also disclosed that during the expo, there will be an update on Langit, HSL’s collaboration with Singapore’s CapitaLand for a mixed-use high-rise comprising a hotel and condominiums, as well as on AIR, the masterplan competition organised with the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM).

“We will also preview elements of the La Promenade Mall extension and two future phases within the 200-acre gated residences: a follow-up to Precinct Grande, tentatively named Precinct One with duplexes and bungalows, and a block of townhouses that will be among our most affordable offerings,” she elaborated.

The exhibition will take place alongside the La Promenade Mall’s Oktoberfest 2025 and will conclude with the grand opening of a new resort-style duplex on Oct 4.

“We plan to make the HSL Property Expo an annual fixture, much like our Oktoberfest launched in 2022, and to grow it into a highlight of Sarawak’s property calendar,” she said.

During the expo, daily lucky draws and giveaways are scheduled, with children’s colouring contests, magic shows and live music from 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
