KUCHING, Dec 6: A house in Lorong 22, Taman Desa Wira here was razed to the ground in a fire yesterday evening.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue (Bomba) operation centre, in a statement, said they received the report regarding the incident at 9.13pm, and responded with a team of eight firefighters from Tabuan fire station led by PBK II Iskandar Apet.
“After arriving at the location, firefighters found that the semi-permanent structure house was completely destroyed by fire.
“All four occupants (two men, two women) however are safe and unharmed,” it said.
The statement noted the remaining flame was extinguished by firefighters using water source from the fire engine through “relay pumping” and the operation ended at 10.03pm. — DayakDaily
