KUCHING, May 23: A family of 10 escaped unscathed after their house in Kampung Muara Tebas was razed in an early morning fire, today.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue (Bomba) Department in a statement said they received the emergency call at 4.05 am from the Malaysia Emergency Response Services (MERS) 999 and a team of 10 firefighters from Tabuan Jaya led by PBK II Christopher Tugoh, was rushed to the location.
“Operation commander reported that a semi-permanent house was totally destroyed in the incident.
“However all of the residents managed to escaped uninjured,” the statement read.
It was also noted that with the assistance of firefighters from Bomba Bako, the flame was completely extinguished at 5.50 am.—DayakDaily
