KUCHING, Sept 12: A house located at Kampung Jemukan Laut, Asajaya was consumed 60 per cent by a fire on Friday night.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was contacted at 8.22 pm and a team was dispatched to the scene.
According to a statement from the State Bomba Operation Centre, there were 10 occupants, including two females. No casualty was reported.
It was also reported there was no Government Integrated Radio Network (GIRN) coverage in the area, causing difficulty in communicating with the State Bomba Operation Centre.
The operation ended at 10 pm after the fire has been put out. -Dayak Daily
