KUCHING, July 22: Some 130 children joined a colouring contest to kickstart one of the early highlights of activities organised by H&L Supermarket during their Karnival 722 in conjunction with the Sarawak Day celebration held in H&L Xtra Eco Mall Petra Jaya.
A spokesperson for H&L, when met, said the carnival not only celebrates Sarawak Day with our customers but also thanks its loyal members.
“The carnival is also being held at several other outlets in the city,” she said.
In their dance competition activities for children, the spokesperson revealed that 104 children from 33 dance groups joined.
“We welcome such a response and look forward to the activities till evening,” she added.
She said the whole-day carnival included fun activities such as ‘Main & Menang (Play And Wins); The Magic Oven Bun Demo, Borneo Happy Farm Mini Zoo; DIY Donuts with The Magic Oven; Spicy Samyang Challenge; a meeting session with the mascot; and free popcorn and ice cream. — DayakDaily
