MIRI, May 7: Deputy Minister for Youth, Sport and Entrepreneur Development I (Youth and
Sport Development) Dato Gerald Rentap Jabu believes that Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) will be able to win big in Baram in the 15th General Election (GE15), as long as the party’s election machinery sustains its momentum.

“In the 12th Sarawak Election last year, GPS and its coalitions secured a two-thirds majority to once again form the government,” he said on Saturday at the opening of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Telang Usan triennial general meeting (TGM) in Miri.

Rentap pointed out that this clearly showed that the people of Sarawak wanted political stability and continuous development.

Thus, he reminded the party’s election machinery to use a similar approach during the last 12th Sarawak Election to ensure victory in GE15.

“Give your undivided support towards Baram MP Anyie Ngau in GE15,” he added.

On another note, Rentap, who is also PBB Youth Wing chief cum Layar assemblyman also reminded the party’s election machinery to be at the ready.

“Be ready to ensure that GPS and its component parties win in all competed seats and avoid a split within the party as we must stay united because GPS is an inclusive party for all Sarawakians,” he opined. — DayakDaily
