KULAI, Aug 23: The Health Ministry has recommended the NSC extend the RMCO period beyond August 31.
According to national daily The Star quoting Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba, the decision on whether to extend the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period is dependent on the National Security Council (NSC) and Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
“The ministry has made the proposal to consider extending the MCO until we get better control of the situation.

“The Prime Minister will announce this soon as the RMCO period until August 31 is almost coming to an end,” he was quoted as saying during a programme here today. — DayakDaily
