SANTUBONG, March 3, 2023: Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri (Dr) Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajjah Raghad Kurdi Taib this evening graced the wedding reception of his brother-in-law Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Husain and Puan Sri Datin Amar Nur Ashima Aziz at the Ballroom, Damai Lagoon Resort here.
This is Abdul Aziz’s second marriage after the demise of his first wife, Puan Sri Datin Amar Fredahanam Mahmud who passed away early last year.
The late Puan Sri Datin Amar Fredahanam was the younger sister of Taib.
Abdul Aziz, who is the chairman of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) was the former State Secretary of Sarawak, a post he held from Aug 25, 2000 to Dec 31, 2006. — DayakDaily
