KUCHING, May 13: The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM or HASiL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Laku Management Sdn Bhd to facilitate information sharing.
According to HASiL in a statement today, the MoU signing took place at Pullman Hotel in Kuching between HASiL chief executive officer Datuk Dr Abu Tariq Jamaluddin and Laku chief executive officer Daneil Punang.
In welcoming the collaboration, Abu Tariq in his speech said it gives added value to the efforts of recognising the strategic collaboration of the two agencies in sharing information and increasing productivity.
He also said that it will have a positive impact on the special taxation ecosystem in Sarawak.
Meanwhile Daneil gave assurance that Laku will give full cooperation to realise the aims of the MoU.
The initiative taken by HASiL and Laku is seen as the beginning of good cooperation between agencies in sharing information towards improving quality and service systems in the future. — DayakDaily
