Hasbi’s appointment will make way for development in Limbang

LIMBANG, Aug 28: The appointment of Limbang MP Datuk Hasbi Habibollah as Deputy Minister of Rural Development 2 is hoped to make way for the development of rural areas in Limbang.

According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang believed that Hasbi’s appointment as a member of the new Cabinet will be able to help Limbang, and the Batu Danau state legislative assembly area in particular.

“This is because he is in the ministry responsible for rural development.

“Therefore, I hope that there will be a lot of development that will enter the Batu Danau area,” he said after the handing over of Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants at Kampung Bunga Raya Hall in Limbang yesterday (Aug 27).

Paulus also congratulated the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) MPs who have been appointed as Senior Ministers, Ministers and Deputy Ministers.

Also present were Iban community leader Temenggung Wilie Marum Liau, Bisaya community leader Temenggong Nickholas Buyok Pura, Pemanca Jun Sillah, Penghulu Ekit Awang and Penghulu Lalam Sambat. — DayakDaily
