KUCHING, Sept 10: The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak has announced several half-road closures along Kuching-Serian Road for resurfacing and miscellaneous works from Sept 11 until Oct 7.
In two separate notices today, JKR Sarawak said the road closures will involve stretches near Sg Simpang Endap, Sg Duuh, Sg Temong, Sg Sinjok, Sg Senggi, Sg Batu, Sg Embang and Sg Tapah from Sept 11 to 20.
Another series of road closures will involve two stretches heading to Serian near Taman Duranda Emas, Siburan, from Sept 21 until Oct 7.
All road closures will be implemented from 9am to 4pm during the affected dates.
Road users are advised to exercise caution when passing through the construction areas and to adhere to the safety signs provided.
