KUCHING. March 18: Mile 6 to Mile 10 of the Kuching-Serian Road will experience a half-road closure from March 20 to April 1, 8pm to 5am.
This is to allow road maintenance works to be carried out by the Public Works Department Kuching Division (JKR Kuching Division) at the affected stretch of road.
“The road will reopen as soon as possible if the maintenance works can be completed early to facilitate the movement of traffic,” said JKR Kuching Division in a press statement today.
Road users are urged to follow the safety signs provided in the affected area and the instructions of the route guard to ensure safety and smooth flow of traffic.
JKR Kuching Division will inform the public should there be any changes in the date, time or road stretch of maintenance.
