KUCHING, Sept 2: A temporary half-road closure will be enforced along Q505 Jalan Datuk Stephen Yong in Kuching from today (Sept 2) until Sept 30, 2025, to facilitate road repair works.
According to the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, the closure will affect the stretch at the traffic light junction of Jalan Kuching-Bau and along Jalan Datuk Stephen Yong.
The department explained that the closure is necessary to carry out upgrading and maintenance works to improve road safety and driving comfort for motorists.
JKR Sarawak advised road users to plan their journeys accordingly and remain cautious when travelling through the affected areas.
