KUCHING, June 9: Jalan Batu Kawah will be partially closed for maintenance and repair works from June 8 until 21.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the Public Works Department (JKR) in a statement said half-road closure and a diversion will be carried out during the maintenance period at the work site to give way for heavy machinery to work.
However, the department said the road will be reopened as soon as possible if the maintenance work can be completed early to facilitate the movement of traffic.
Road users are advised to plan their journey throughout the maintenance work carried out.
