Gymnast Nur Sabrina makes S’wak proud, crowned overall champion in S’pore meet

KUCHING, Dec 20: Sarawakian gymnast Nur Sabrina Ismail Abdullah made the State proud in the first-ever Singapore International Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup 2022.

According to a Facebook post by Semangat Sarawak, she won gold medals in the balls and clubs routines and the coveted overall champion trophy in her category.

“Hopefully, her success will further motivate and strengthen her spirit for future tournaments.

“Congratulations, Anak Sarawak. Agi idup, agi ngelaban (As long as you live, you fight),” said the post.

The event was held at the OCBC Arena Hall 1 in Singapore from Dec 16-19 which saw the Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics team which was the 2020 Olympic Games champions as the guests-of-honour, where they held meet-and-greet sessions along with a highlight performance.
