GPS wins 45 of 82 seats for simple majority in PRN12 so far, counting still ongoing

KUCHING, Dec 18: The Election Commission (EC) has announced that Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) has won 45 of the 82 State Legislative Assembly seats in the 12th Sarawak Election so far.

EC chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Salleh, who announced the election results, said GPS has obtained 50 per cent of the total seats contested for a simple majority.


Counting is still ongoing in the remaining 37 seats. — DayakDaily
