KUCHING, Dec 11: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chief whip Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof believes that the party will win big in the Tanjong Datu seat in the forthcoming State election.

He said the candidate, Azizul Annuar Adenan, has gained a lot of experience in politics and would serve the rakyat well.

Azizul, the youngest son of the late Sarawak Chief Minister Pehin Sri Adenan Satem and wife Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu, who is the incumbent for the seat, has been actively going on the ground since the time his parents were helming the Tanjong Datu seat.

The 30-year-old is the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tanjong Datu Youth chief and is the youngest GPS candidate for the 12th Sarawak Election.

Apart from having a capable elected representative, Fadillah also mentioned that it is essential to ensure political stability and continuity to maintain peace and harmony in the State.

“When our politics is stable, and we already have development plans in the works, we will be able to focus on implementing the projects for the people.

“However, to ensure that these projects will continue being implemented, we must give back the mandate to GPS,” he said during a GPS gathering with Sematan people at Dewan Cina Sematan today. ― DayakDaily
