GPS will not mimic Pakatan Harapan’s style of politics, says ex-minister

SIBU, June 12: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) will not emulate Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) or any other Pakatan Harapan (PH) party’s style or political motives.

Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) senior vice president Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said this when asked to comment on a video and photos where two men — including one who resembles a federal minister — appeared to be engaging in intimate acts.

Fadillah said it was neither Sarawakians’ style nor culture to tag along with such moves.

“As members of GPS, we will focus on servicing our people, their problems and issues faced,” he said after visiting Datuk Abdul Wahab Dolah’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house together with Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg here today.

This is the time for all to be united and focussed on looking after the people, the state and the country, Fadillah said, rather than being embroiled in politicking.

“Too much politicking is not good for us and the people. Let us focus on the rakyat, for the betterment of the state and the country,” he reiterated. — DayakDaily
