GPS supreme council meets at 2.30pm today at PBB headquarters where PBB supreme council convened earlier

KUCHING, July 10: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) top brass is holding a supreme council meeting at Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) headquarters at Jalan Bako at 2.30pm today.


This is the second meeting at the same venue where the first was PBB Supreme Council Meeting which ended slightly past midday.

On PBB supreme council meeting this morning, a party insider told DayakDaily that among the matters discussed was how to better served the people during the pandemic.

“There were updates on the government’s and State Disaster Management Committee’s (SDMC) policies against Covid-19 pandemic.

“Discussions were centred around how to better serve the rakyat, how to save life during this time of pandemic,” said the insider.

The insider admitted that political issues were also been deliberated but declined to reveal further details.

“It was a closed-door meeting, so I could not reveal anything further to you,” said the insider.

The insider further stressed that today’s meeting was a routine one as it is usual for PBB to hold supreme council meetings two to four times annually.

Meanwhile, on the GPS supreme council meeting, it is speculated that the meeting may centre around the upcoming Sarawak Election that must be held within two months if Emergency were to be lifted on August 1, 2021. — DayakDaily
