KUCHING, Nov 5: A three-corner fight is in the works for P192 Mas Gading between Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), Democratic Action Party (DAP) and Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) in the 15th General Election (GE15).
This time, GPS is fielding a newcomer Lidang Disen, while PBK is represented by Sim Min Leong, and Mas Gading incumbent from DAP Mordi Bimol will be defending his seat.
Election Commission (EC) returning officer Anelia Siam announced at Bau Civic Center today that all candidates were certified and accepted.
Lidang arrived at the nomination centre in Bau Civic Center at 8.20am together with his proposer Dato Henry Harry Jinep, who is also Deputy Minister of Transport and Tasik Biru assemblyman, and ceconder Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang, including their supporters.
Shortly after that, Sim also arrived together with his proposer John Gorden and seconder Kenny Royston, while Mordi together with his proposer Franchis Teron and seconder Freedy Misid arrived at 9am. — DayakDaily
