KUCHING, June 25: The Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sarawak has urged the government to facilitate the vaccination process for those who have registered earlier with the MySejahtera application.

According to PKR Sarawak information chief Abun Sui Anyit, in a statement today, many have expressed their frustration while waiting to be inoculated.

“Why is this still happening? Logically, those who have queued earlier than others should get to be vaccinated first. But this is not the case. Those who have not registered themselves with the MySejahtera initially, are getting their vaccines earlier than those who have registered, without any appointment (walk in).

“As such, we urge the government to closely monitor and expedite the vaccination process for those who have registered with the MySejahtera application,” he said.

Abun pointed out that some members of the public, who have registered themselves through the application since Feb 2021, are still yet to get their calls for vaccination.

He also questioned the purpose of frequently updating the MySejahtera application as the information required are still the same or unchanged.

“The MySejahtera application was said to help arrange the vaccination process, yet, we are not being informed on how long we have to wait to be called for the vaccination after registering with it,” he added. — DayakDaily
