KUCHING, July 10: The Negara Brunei Darussalam Consul General to Sarawak His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Madhani Dato Paduka Sheikh Abdul Ghani has paid a courtesy call on Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
During the meeting which lasted an hour, they discussed issues and topics of mutual interest to both Sarawak and Negara Brunei Darussalam.
According to a statement, the Gabungan Jurutera Perunding Bumiputera Sarawak (GJPBS), led by its chairman Ir Irwan Zulkarnain Hasbie also called on Uggah together with committee members.
Irwan briefed Uggah on the formation of the association, its objectives and participation in various government development projects since 2014. — DayakDaily
