SIBU, April 28: It is a three-cornered fight between Pakatan Harapan-Democratic Action Party’s (PH-DAP) Alice Lau, Barisan Nasional-Sarawak United Peoples’ Party’s (BN-SUPP) Kelvin Kong and Sarawak Peace Party (SPP) Priscilla Lau in the Lanang constituency.
Among the three, Alice is defending the seat while Priscilla who stood against Datuk Janet Lau in the 2016 state election in Pelawan is already quite a well-known figure in Sibu.
SUPP candidate Kong, however, is a new face.

She polled 26,613 against Tiong’s 17,983.
On the other hand, Priscilla, a lawyer, lost to David Wong of PH-DAP in the 2016 state election where she also lost her deposit as she garnered only 597 votes against Wong’s 13,056 and Janet’s 8,742. — DayakDaily
