KUCHING, Feb 19: Gala City, Jalan Tun Jugah will be under parking control using the parking coupon system with effect from March 1, 2022.
Kuching City Parking Systems Sdn Bhd (KCPS) said the parking control is extended to the new area to discourage long-term parking and ensure motorists have fair chance of using the limited parking spaces available.
“The parking control hours are from 8am to 5pm on Mondays to Fridays.
“The parking fees to be charged will be 20 cents for the first half hour, 50 cents for the second half hour and 80 cents for every subsequent half hour thereof,” it said in a notice today.
KCPS added that a limited number of monthly seasons parking coupons at RM42.20 each, inclusive of 6 per cent sales tax, can be purchased starting every 19th of the month for the following month at the KCPS office.
