KUCHING, Aug 23: His Majesty the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Al Marhum Sultan Ahmad Shah and her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah will start their royal tour of East Malaysia, from Sabah–Sarawak, starting from September 3 to 13.
Quoting a source from Istana Negara, Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) in a report today said that the 11-day royal tour will commence from Tawau, Sabah and end in Telok Melano, Lundu.
The King and Queen will tour Sabah from Sept 3–6 followed by Sarawak from Sept 7–13, covering a total distance of 2,154 kilometres.
Their Majesties are expected to travel along the Pan Borneo Highway in both States. — DayakDaily
