MIRI, July 6: A 28-year-old motorcyclist injured his back when the high-powered motorcycle he had just parked at his house in Lutong fell and pinned him to the ground.
The freak episode happened at around 8.45pm on Thursday.
Fortunately, the victim’s roommate returned home minutes after the motorcycle kickstand gave way and fell.
Three Miri Civil Defence Department (JPAM) personnel arrived at about 9.11pm after being alerted by the victim’s roommate, who was horrified to see the victim screaming in pain.
The victim was later taken to Miri Hospital. — DayakDaily
