Four families made homeless in Kampung Telaga Air fire

KUCHING, Aug 7: Four families were made homeless after their houses located at Kampung Telaga Air caught fire late Thursday night.

Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was contacted at 11.44 pm and a team was deployed to the scene.

According to a statement from the State Bomba Operation Centre, two houses were razed to the ground in the fire, which also damaged two cars and eight motorcycles.

Two fire victims, aged 60 and 17 years, suffered minor injuries during the incident.

After ensuring the scene was safe, the Bomba team ended its operation at 1.41 am and returned to the station. -DayakDaily
