KUCHING, Aug 7: Firefighters managed to control a fire, that broke out at a factory in Jalan Ding Lik Kong, Sibu on Thursday night, from spreading within 10 minutes upon arriving at the scene.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was contacted at 9.14 pm and a team was deployed to the scene.
According to a statement from the State Bomba Operation Centre, a rack and a machine which was outside the factory caught fire.
Bomba immediately started their operation in putting out the fire by using the Rescue, Exposure, Confine, Extinguish and Overhaul (RECEO) concept.
After the fire had been put out, the Bomba proceeded to the overhaul operation to make sure that the fire was completely extinguished.
The firefighters returned to their station after they ended their operation. -DayakDaily
