KUCHING, June 8: Former Bukit Assek assemblyman Daniel Ngieng has passed away in New Zealand this morning at the age of 69.
One of his former colleagues in Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) who refused to be named confirmed the news.
Ngieng who was born in 1951, was a one-term assemblyman, an educator and a preacher.
Before he migrated to New Zealand in 2015, he was the deputy chairman of Sibu Municipal Council. — DayakDaily
