KUCHING, April 30: A 14-year-old girl, Syifa Saffeyea binti Hazee Fazali, has been reported missing after failing to return home after school since yesterday (April 29).
Kuching District Police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the girl, a Form 3 student from SMK St Teresa, Kuching, was last seen on April 29, at approximately 1pm during a school session.
Syifa is approximately 151cm tall and was last seen wearing a purple school sports shirt bearing the school’s logo and the name ‘Sylvia’, along with school shoes. She was not wearing a headscarf at the time.
Police are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Kuching IPD Control Centre at 082-24444 or reach out directly to Investigating Officer Insp Tengku Mu’izz Farizzul at 016-8930607.
The public is also advised not to make any speculation or spread unverified information regarding this incident. – DayakDaily
