Foreigner stuns cops, public by crying, yelling outside police station

The Indonesian woman (in striped shirt) was picked up from the police station by her employer.

MIRI, Nov 22: Miri Central Police Station became the “centre of attraction” for a bizarre reason this morning when an Indonesian woman sat outside the station and was not only crying but also yelling for no apparent reason.

The 11am episode not only caught the attention of the policemen on duty but also passers-by.

It took police personnel some 30 minutes to calm down the distraught woman, who is believed to be in her late 30s.

Police eventually managed to contact her employer, who showed up later to pick her.

It is believed that the woman has been working for her employer for barely a month only and that she was probably depressed due to family matters. — DayakDaily
