KUCHING, March 27: Meditel Ramadan Bazaar 2023 at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) has 44 stalls selling a variety of food, clothing, and items, even cosmetic products.
Speaking to reporters after officiating at the opening ceremony, Sarawak General Hospital deputy director (Medical) Dr Hayati Ja’afar, who was representing SGH director Dr Ngian Hie Ung, said this is the second time the Ramadan bazaar is being organised following the first one in 2022.
She said members of the public are also welcome to visit the bazaar, but reminded visitors it is still necessary to wear facemasks and practise hand hygiene.
The bazaar is organised by Meditel with the cooperation from SGH management, together with Sarawak General Hospital Staff Welfare Association (Perkahus) and Sarawak Health Department Islamic Welfare Association (Perkip).
Meditel Ramadan Bazaar 2023 is being held from March 23 until April 21, and will be open daily from 1pm until 8pm. — DayakDaily
