KUCHING, Jan 19: A total of 114 residents in Debak were evacuated to a relief centre (PPS) after their homes were hit by floods.
According to the Secretariat of the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) report, the flood victims were relocated to the PPS Dewan Millenia in Debak, which was opened at 1.30am today.
The evacuees are from Kampung Lalang, Kampung Bungey and Kampung Babu.
Yesterday (Jan 18), floods struck multiple districts throughout the State, including Selangau, Mukah, and Dudong, following continuous rain since Jan 17. — DayakDaily
