KOTA SAMARAHAN, Jan 19: Five vehicles which were under repair were totally destroyed in a fire incident at Jalan Datuk Mohd Musa, Desa Ilmu this morning.
Fire and Rescue (Bomba) department operations centre in a statement said they received a call from MERS 999 on the incident at around 9.55am.
A team of firefighters from Kota Samarahan led by station chief PKPgB Ebby Hirwandy Sarbini were dispatched to the scene.
The five vehicles, a FORD van, Naza Citra, Toyota Gallant, Myvi and Honda Accord were parked at a workshop, about four meters away behind a three-storey shoplot.
No injuries were reported.
A team of fire investigation together with Bomba K9 unit were also deployed to the scene for further investigation. — DayakDaily
