KUCHING, Aug 16: Five St Joseph’s International School (SJIS) students achieved perfect scores in the Cambridge A-Level June examinations.
The students who scored straight A and A+ for all the subjects taken are Emanuelle Wong, Eunice Wong, Kim Kyu Ri, Lydia Ting and Michelle Yeo.
According to a press statement today, the results from the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) released on Aug 10, showed that SJIS students did very well on their Cambridge A-Level exams.
The rigorous pre-university curriculum is the entry point to the world’s top schools.
All SJIS students scored A+ for Accounting, 80 per cent scored A and A+ for Economics, 75 per cent scored A+ for Business and 50 per cent scored A and A+ for Chemistry and Biology.
Principal Br Robert Teo congratulates all the A-level students and teachers on the release of their exceptional accomplishment results.
“Five of our top students earned perfect scores on their May/June 2023 tests, while 53 per cent of our students earned A, A+, or B grades.
“Our teachers have consistently demonstrated their capacity to guide our students in the right direction. I am happy to report that our school has maintained its strong performance in the A-Level exams,” he commended. — DayakDaily
