KUCHING, Feb 28: A family of three were rescued at about 3.20am today after they were trapped briefly in their home at Kampung Surabaya here as some parts of the house collapsed.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) teams from the Petra Jaya and Tabuan Jaya stations were deployed to the site after receiving an emergency call at about 3am.
Upon arriving at the site together with the police and village chief, they found three victims comprising two men and one woman trapped inside the house.
“The victims were in safe condition but were unable to get out of the house as the front door had collapsed,” the report said.
All three victims were rescued from the house at about 3.20am.
No injuries were reported in the incident. — DayakDaily
