KUCHING, Oct 30: Responding to a distress call, firefighters broke into a condominium in Eden Heights, Jalan Airport this afternoon.
They received the call at 1.35pm about a fire in one of the units on the fourth floor. Upon arrival, they had to break the front door in as the occupants were not in.
Firefighters immediately rushed to one of the bedrooms where they saw a cupboard on fire.
They managed to control the fire by 2.03pm and estimated the fire had damaged about 10 per cent of the bedroom.
