KUCHING, March 15: An auto-parts premise at Jalan Bengan was partially destroyed in an early morning fire today.
The Fire and Rescue Department deployed firefighters from the Batu Lintang and Tabuan Jaya fire stations to the scene upon receiving a distress call from the public.
“Our operation commander said the incident involved an auto-parts premise (half-cut) and spread to a nearby semi-permanent canteen structure,” the department said.
Firefighters managed to put the fire under control before it spread to a nearby housing area. No injuries were reported in the incident. — DayakDaily
