Fire nearly razes three houses in Ulu Baram

KUCHING, Nov 8: Three houses in Ulu Baram, Marudi, were nearly razed in a fire yesterday (Nov 7).

According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, they received a call on the incident at 1.50pm and dispatched firefighters from Bomba Marudi to the location.

The operations commander reported that three houses were 90 per cent damaged by the fire.

However, no operation was conducted as the fire was already extinguished when firefighters arrived.

The total loss incurred and cause of the fire are still under investigation. — DayakDaily
